Has anyone been able to practice with the new Pentti III longsword design? I've seen the new Pentti III design and the new blade design looks better but the crossgaurd looks much less safe. I heavily engage my crossgaurd during the Ringen am Schwert and the rubber caps on the quillions help make things safer and I wouldn't really be comfortable doing it without them.

As such Pentti has set a trend for a new standard in synthetic longswords, which is quite impressive for such a humble person as Pentti, a man very few actually know of outside of GHFS.
